Abstract:

To achieve improvement in efficiency of handling customers in a point of sales data processing system including a plurality of point of sales data processing devices in which product registration processing and settlement processing are conducted.SOLUTION: A point of sales data processing device, which can be operated by a product registration operator and a customer, is configured that comprises: first operation reception means that receives operations a product registrant conducts; second operation reception means that receives operations a customer conducts as to settlement; bookkeeping means that parallely implements product registration processing in accordance with the operation of the product registrant with respect to the first operation reception means, and settlement processing in accordance with the operation with resect to the second operation reception means; and output means that can output registration data having a registration result of a product by the product registration processing reflected to other point of sales date processing device at a timing before a prescribed condition is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
