Abstract:
To make suitable changes in tax rates.SOLUTION: An item sales data processor includes registration means, tax amount display means, and change means. The registration means registers item information including the number of items and prices of the items. The tax amount display means displays a tax amount based on the prices included in the item information registered in the registration means and also based on a tax rate. The change means changes the tax rate according to the tax amount displayed by the tax amount display means. The registration means is capable of registering the item information of a specific item on which one tax rate of multiple tax rates is imposed. When the item information of the specific item indicating a plurality of pieces is registered in the registration means, the change means restricts the change of the tax rate for some of the plurality of pieces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
