PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a products shipment information control system capable of accurately grasping which package is mounted in which item of products and also what destination, time of manufacture, etc., are, and also quickly responding to appearance of any poorly yielded items to be retrieved, undergo a maintenance process, etc. SOLUTION: The control information of a package itself (name, manufacturing No., time of manufacture, version No, for problem responded) written in a read/write ROM (EPROM) installed in the package mounted in the casing of the item of products and the package information consisting of the casing information (destination, casing management No. (arrange order etc.)) are read prior to shipment of the products, and the read pieces of control information are associated to the applicable casing, system constitution, and/or destination on the unit-by-unit basis and prepared in the form of database, and thereby it is possible to accurately grasp which package is mounted in which item of products and also what the destination, time of manufacture, etc., are, and also to quickly respond to eventual appearance of any poorly yielded items to be retrieved, undergo a control process, etc.
