Abstract:
PURPOSE: To industrially, obtain a 1-acyl-3-semicarbazide of high purity in high yield while suppressing production of by-products by using a thiosemicarbazide and an acylhalide as raw materials.
CONSTITUTION: The thiosemicarbazide is suspended in an aprotic polar solvent, and the acyl halide is added gradually to the suspension to react with the above thiosemicarbazide to produce the 1-acyl-3-thiosemicarbazide of high purity in high yield.
