Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compound useful as an electronic material for electrolytic condensers, etc., and electronic part material, etc., in high purity with improved filtration efficiency, by reacting 1,4-cyclohexanedinone with malonitrile in a solvent, e.g. water or alcohol, etc.
CONSTITUTION: 1,4-Cyclohexanedione is with malonitrile in an alcohol or mixed solvent of alcohol and water, preferably in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. β- alanine, at 30W80°C for 20minW3hr to afford the aimed substance. The reaction is carried out by using 2W4mol, based on 1mol 1,4-cyclohexanedione, malonitrile and methanol, ethanol, etc., as the alcohol with is the solvent.
