Abstract:
To simply obtain the subject compound in a good yield by hydroformylating a cyclohexene compound.
A cyclohexene compound of formula I (MG1 is an intermediate phase-forming group) is subjected to a hydroformylation reaction to obtain an acylcyclohexane compound of formula II. The hydroformylation reaction is preferably carried out in the presence of the complex of Rh, Co or Ru metal at 100-150°C. A 1-(1-alkenyl)cyclohexane is obtained from the formula II. Thereby, the objective compound is simply obtained from the easily available material in a sufficient yield, and the product is entirely produced in a trans configuration.
