PURPOSE: To produce the high-strength high-ductility Al alloy sheet for an anodic oxidation treatment having uniform color tones after anodic oxidation and excellent formability by subjecting an Al alloy cast ingot having a specific compsn. consisting of Si, Fe, Ti, Mg and Al to specific hot and cold rolling after a specific heat treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The Al alloy cast ingot which contains 0.05 to 0.5wt.% Si, 0.15 to 0.9% Fe (where Si+Fe: 0.3 to 1.0%) and 0.01 to 0.05% Ti, is added with Mg of 1.0 to 10.0Mg/Si ratio by weight and consists of the balance Al with inevitable impurities is heat treated for 1 to 20 hours at 450 to 550°C. This cast ingot is thereafter hot-rolled at 400 to 550°C initiation temp. and 20 to 300°C end temp. The hot rolled sheet is then cold-rolled at ≥40% reduction ratio of the sheet thickness. The sheet is thereafter heat treated for 1 to 10 hours at 150 to 250°C at need. As a result, the Al alloy sheet material which has the decreased variations in the color tones after the anodic oxidation treatment and the excellent formability and corrosion resistance is obtd.
