Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing an aluminum foil adequate for formation of an image receiving layer contg. physical development nuclei and to provide an aluminum base monosheet DTR material for forming a planographic printing plate having good printing characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: The aluminum foil is treated with an aq. bicarbonate-contg. soln. after anodic oxidation in the process for producing the aluminum foil including a process for roughening the aluminum foil and a subsequent stage of anodizing the aluminum foil. Further, the monosheet silver halide diffusion transfer material has the aluminum foil obtd. by this process as a support.
