Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve adhesion, hydrophilicity, printability, and compatibility by introducing amino groups into the C-C double bonds of an unsaturated copolymer composed of a 3-12C alpha-olefin and a specific cyclic olefin. CONSTITUTION:A 3-12C alpha-olefin is copolymerized with 0.1-50mol% cyclic olefin having an alkylidene or alkenyl group and represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is a 2-5C alkylidene or alkenyl, R<2> is H or a 1-5C hydrocarbon group, and n is 0-2) at 0-50kg/cm<2> and -60 to 150 deg.C to thereby obtain an unsaturated copolymer having a number-average mol.wt. of 3,000 or higher and a melting point of 40 deg.C or higher. Amino groups are introduced into at least 30% of the C-C double bonds of the alkylidene or alkenyl groups.
