This method for producing an amine derivative comprises reacting 1 mole of an aldehyde of the formula: R1-CHO [R1 is a (substituted) alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an alkenyl, an aralkyl, an aryl, an acyl or a heterocyclic group] with 0.9-1.5 moles of a primary amine of the formula: R2-NH2 [R2 is a (substituted) alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl] and 0.9-1.5 moles of a silylating nucleophilic agent of the formula [R3, R4, R5 are each an organic group; R6 is a (substituted) alkenyloxy, cyano] in the presence of 0.1-150 g of a polymer- carried scandium catalyst comprising a polymer carrying scandium triflate (preferably polyarylscandiumtriphyllamidetriflate) qt -20 to 0°C.
