Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry an antibacterial agent in a uniformly dispersed state on clay granules as the principal component of antibacterial ceramics.
CONSTITUTION: Clay and a very small amt. of an antibacterial agent are stirred and mixed in water to obtain a slurry in which the antibacterial agent and clay are in a uniformly stirred and dispersed state. This slurry is dried, granulated and fired to produce the objective antibacterial ceramics.
