Title:
PRODUCTION OF ANTICORROSIVE ALUMINUM MATERIAL FOR BRAZING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3393924
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce an anticorrosive aluminum material for brazing capable of showing excellent brazability while the good adhesion of a thermally sprayed layer to an aluminum material is secured and furthermore excellent in appearance quality.
CONSTITUTION: Primary powder for brazing constituted of Al-Si alloy powder and Si powder and secondary powder for anticorrosion constituted of Zn or Zn alloy powder are mixed to form into a powdery mixture and this mixed powder is thermally sprayed on the surface of an aluminum material. The thermal spraying is executed preferably in such a manner that the melting of the primary powder is suppressed while the secondary powder is melted. Moreover, preferably, the coating weight of the Si components in the surface of the aluminum material is regulated to 3 to 20g/m2, and the coating weight of the Zn components to 6 to 14g/m2.
