Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably produce a pipe having different diameters by feeding braiding yarn through a squeezing guide following the diameters of a mandrel communicating with installed plural upright braider units.
CONSTITUTION: In this production apparatus for a pipe having different diameters, a mandrel automatically supplying device, braider units 2 which are vertically equipped with truck faces 21 having a central hole into which a mandrel M is inserted and can individually change moving speeds of bobbin carriers 5, a lapping device 3 and a preform automatically taking out device are arranged in series. Braiding yarn F and central yarn F' using prepreg yarn of carbon yarn, glass yarn or aramid yarn previously impregnated with a thermosetting resin are fed through squeezing guides 200 attached to the central hole onto the mandrel M to braid a pipe having different diameters. A tape is wound on a braided layer on the mandrel M through the lapping device 3 adjoined to the braider unit 2 at the uppermost stream side and the mandrel is taken out by the preform automatically taking out device and thermoformed.
