Abstract:

To provide a bis[(flurophenylsulfonyl)phenyl] ether compound of new compound with one process.

This method for producing a bis[(arylsulfonyl)aryl] ether compound of general formula (3) (R5 and R6 are each F or hydroxy) comprises reacting a sulfonyldiphenol compound and/or a sulfonyldiphenolate compound of general formula (1) (M groups are each independently H, Na or K) with a compound of general formula (2), (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently a 1 to 6C alkyl or an aryl; X1 is F; X2 is F or Cl).
