Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a bolt high in shaft precision at low costs by forming many recessed parts to a part corresponding to a bolt shaft part of a bolt base material, at the time of pressing a bolt head, releasing a base material stock, which bulges in the outer peripheral direction caused by a pressure applied to a shaft part, to the recessed parts and eliminaing bulging in the outer peripheral direction of the shaft part.
SOLUTION: A bolt base material is inserted in die 2 from a screw part forming part 13 side and is fixed therein. An end part of a base material exposed from the die 2 is pressed in the axial direction to form a head part. At this time, compression force is applied to a shaft part 12, the force to bulge in the outer peripheral direction is generated, a base material stock to bulge in the outer peripheral direction can be released to many recessed parts arranged to the shaft part. Accordingly, the force to bulge the shaft part 12 in the outer peripheral direction is not generated, and spring back phenomenon is not caused at the time of pulling out the bolt from the die 2.
