PURPOSE: To improve a surface state, by applying a paint to the surface of a building base panel by silk screen printing and subsequently pressing the surface.

CONSTITUTION: A paint with high solid content (an emulsion paint with solid content of 75W85%) is applied to the surface of a building base panel 1 such as a rock wool panel in a thickness of 0.5W1.5mm by a silk screen printing system. Next, hot-pressing is immediately applied to the coated panel to form an embossed pattern 5 on the surface of the base panel 1 and the coat 2 over the surface is cured and the end surfaces of the base panel is actually processed. By this method, the coat film can be made thick and the surface embossed pattern can be deeply and finely formed and appearance can be enhanced.
