Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the bushing plate having stable joint strength and long life by forming a circular hole in a blank plate of the bushing plate, and press fitting and fixing a hollow tubular material into this hole at specified interference, then joining both by thermal diffusion.
CONSTITUTION: The flat plate is subjected drilling and the hollow tubular material for constituting a discharge port is press fitted and fixed at the specified interference into this hole. Since both are thermally diffusion joined by a heat treatment, the outer peripheral parts of the hole on the bushing plate side and the hollow tubular material are heat treated in the state of fixing and pressing these parts with the specified interference. Both metallic materials are thus diffused and joined to each other and the strength thereof is the same as the strength of the base metallic materials. Since the spinning of a glass fiber is executed at 1100 to 1400°C, there is no worry at all about the degradation in the joint strength as the thermal diffusion progresses further during the use. The blank plate is subjected to projecting and the hollow tubular material is press fitted and fixed to the central part thereof if the discharge hole for the fine glass fibers having a small thickness size is required.
