Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a novel producing method capable of supporting a metal active to hydrogenation at high concn. in a highly dispersed state and fit for industrialization of a catalyst for hydrogenation of hydrocarbon oil

CONSTITUTION: When one or more kinds of group VIB metals of the periodic table are supported on a catalyst carrier with an aq. soln. contg. the metals, an aq. soln. of pH 2-5 having 0.01-1.0 mol/l concn. of the metals is prepd. and the metals are supported by impregnation for ≥6hr impregnation time to produce the objective catalyst for hydrogenation of hydrocarbon oil. By this method, the group VIB metals can highly be dispersed at high concn. and the resulting catalyst can maximumly be utilized for desulfurization of hydrocarbon oil.
