Title:
PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC-METAL BONDED MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176459
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent galling in insertion and to provide a ceramic-metal bonded material exhibiting a low residual stress after insertion and bonding under pressure and capable of maintaining a strong bonding force.
CONSTITUTION: In production of a ceramic-metal bonded material 1 by inserting a ceramic member 2 into a depression part or a through hole of a metal member 3 under pressure and bonding to each other, a surface treatment is applied to the neighborhood 6 of the end of engagement on the bonding surface of one or both of the above-mentioned members so as to reduce the coefficient of friction and a lubricant is applied to at least the parts except the above- mentioned neighborhood of the end of engagement. After insertion of both the members under pressure, a heat treatment is applied thereto until the coefficient of friction of the lubricant-applied part when being pulled out becomes hither than the coefficient of friction at a point of time of insertion under pressure.
