PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic wire having excellent heat-resistance and strength by integrally drawing a ceramic powder composition obtained under specific condition and a non-fusible resin and sintering the obtained linearly formed powdery material.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle to be used in the present process is composed of a small-diameter nozzle and a large-diameter nozzle surrounding the small- diameter nozzle. A mixture of a powdery ceramic raw material and a dispersion medium is extruded from the small-diameter nozzle 1 and, at the same time, a non-fusible resin liquid is extruded from the large-diameter nozzle and the extruded components are integrally drawn to obtain a linearly formed powdery ceramic raw material coated with the resin film. The formed material is heated at the sintering temperature to obtain the sintered ceramic wire.
