PURPOSE: To obtain the cleaning blade which is greatly improved in durability by securely adhering a blade material and a planar support metallic fixture by using an adhesive having high adhesive power.
CONSTITUTION: While a pretreating agent (primer) of an isocyanate system or silane system is applied on the adhesive surface 1a of a support metallic fixture 1, a hot melt film adhesive of a thermoplastic urethane system is stuck to the adhesive surface 2a of the blade material 2 consisting of the planar elastomer as the material. The adhesive surface 1a of the support metallic fixture 1 coated with the pretreating agent is superposed on the hot melt film adhesive stuck onto the adhesive surface 2a of the blade material 2 and is pressurized under heating by a press, etc., by which the cleaning blade is integrally molded.
