Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a composite material provided with parts different from each other in properties while using a single alloy material by heating the alloy material and unevenly distributing an additive element contained in the alloy material and controlling properties of the alloy material in the alloy material.
CONSTITUTION: A homogeneous alloy material contg. an additive element controlling properties of the alloy material, e.g., Si or Ni is smelted and heated to partially thicken the additive element in the interior of the alloy material as well as in the surface. In the case of Si or Ni, the heat resistance of the alloy material is enhanced. In the case of other element, the electric conductivity or wear resistance is enhanced.
