PURPOSE: To make mass production of surface reinforced parts easy in forming the composite surface of a composite material by setting a paper-like or meshed reinforcing material on the inside surface of a mold, charging and pressurizing a molten metal therein and forming the uniform composite surface material having no directivity.

CONSTITUTION: A paper-like or meshed reinforcing material 5 is lined partly or fully on the inside surface of a bottom metallic mold 3. A top metallic mold 1 is put thereon and a molten metal 7 is charged therein and is pressurized by a punch 2, whereby the molten metal is solidified. The molten metal penetrates and fits thoroughly into the reinforcing material by pressurization and the surface composite reinforcing material having good quality is obtd. There is no directivity according to a production method and only the required part is reinforced; moreover, the operation is simple and is suitable for mass production.
