Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a composite molded product by providing a coating layer excellent in appearance on the surface of a fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molded object excellent in strength to strongly bond the same.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet material 11 with glass content of 40wt.% is set to the movable mold 121 of a mold 12 and the surface thereof is heated to about 200°C by an infrared heater 14 to be brought to a molten state. The mold 12 is closed and a thermoplastic resin melted at about 200°C is injected in the cavity 122 of the mold to obtain a fiber reinforced resin composite panel 2 wherein the coating layer 22 composed of the thermoplastic resin is integrally provided to a molded object 21.
