Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance production efficiency without lowering the strength of the top and bottom plates of a concrete member by restraining the expansion pressure of expansible concrete within the form by flat casting wherein the concrete member having a square cross section is arranged in the form sideways to effectively develop chemical stress.
CONSTITUTION: A form consisting of an upwardly opened rectangular parallelepiped outer frame 5 consisting of side plates and a bottom plate 3 and a downwardly opened inner frame 6 having a horizontal U-shape cross section is used. This form 1 is arranged sideways and expansible concrete is charged in the outer frame 5 from the opened upper surface thereof to fill the space between the inner and outer frames 6, 5 to be cast into the form up to the opening surfaces 7 and finish surfaces of the top and bottom plate. After the surface of the concrete 8 of the opening surface is roughly finished, an expansion pressure restraining form 10 having a water and air permeable filter layer 9 attached to the inner surface thereof is arranged to cover the opening surface to bring the interior of the form to a closed state with respect to concrete. By this constitution, compression can be converted to prestress.
