Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a confectionery raw material, having a high nutritive value such as calcium or iron, capable of bringing out the natural flavor of Hizikia fusiforme Okamura and excellent in texture, etc., by blending a basic blended raw material with powder of the Hizikia fusiforme Okamura and preparing the confectionery raw material.

CONSTITUTION: The objective raw material is obtained by blending a basic blended raw material composed of 12% sugar, 10% wheat flour, 10% hen's egg, 0.6% honey, 0.6% thick malt syrup, 0.5% butter, 5% milk powder and a small amount of vanilla oil with 0.02% powder of Hizikia fusiforme Okamura for preparing, e.g. a dough for Japanese crackers and preparing the raw material.
