PURPOSE: To enable an operator to input information necessary for production control, for example, in parts metalworking, the drawing number, rod numbers and work ending contents easily at any time, in a production control system used with a computer.
CONSTITUTION: An electronic drawing storage unit 14 compounds parts information 12 of information on a drawing 18, a drawing number, lot numbers or the like, and procedure information 13 of information on work procedures, work stations or the like in combination, outputting a shop drawing 30 with a bar code. This shop drawing 30 is printed with the parts information 12 and procedure information 13 together as bar code information 21 and 22. This shop drawing 30 travels each of work stations of a metalcutting machine tool together with parts. An operator reads the bar code information 21 showing the parts informations 12 through a code reader 41 when its own work is over, then in the bar code information, it reads a part displayed with its own work station name is read through the bar code reader 41. With this constitution, a host computer 11 is able to obtain the required information at once.
