Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crystal-oriented ceramic, capable of surely producing the ceramic having a high crystal orientation degree without relating to the kind of a material to be used, etc.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a crystal-oriented ceramic comprising a gust compound having an isotropic perovskite type structure comprises mixing host particles with a guest compound raw material in the presence of oriented host particles as a template and subsequently heating the mixture. Therein, the method has either one of a host phase elimination-retarding process, a guest phase production-accelerating process and a third phase production- retarding process as a means for controlling a timing between the elimination of the host phase and the production of the third phase in order to maintain the host phase of the host particles and the guest phase of the guest compound in an overlapped state or in order to inhibit the production of the third phase interfering the contact of the host phase with the guest phase.
