Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a producing method capable of suppressing production of by-products by addition of ammonia or ammonium salt and providing the objective cyclic imidic acid ester in high selectivity and yield and capable of readily carrying out separation and purification.
CONSTITUTION: In producing the objective cyclic imidic acid ester by reacting a nitrile derivative with an aminoalcohol in the presence of a metallic salt catalyst, the reaction is carried out in the presence of ammonia or ammonium salt at 70-200°C reactional temperature.
