Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain disazo pigment useful for coloring resins, having improved transparency, heat resistance, etc., by coupling tetrazotized dichorobenzidine with chlorodimethoxyacetanilide and a specific diamide.
CONSTITUTION: Tetrazotized 3, 3'-dichlorobenzidine is coupled with (B) (i) 4- chloro-2, 5-dimethoxyacetanilide, and (ii) a compound [e.g., 1, 4-bis(acetacetylamino) benzene, etc.] shown by the formula I and/or formula II (R1 and R2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, or lower alkoxy), to give the aimed disazo pigment.
