PURPOSE: To provide a display device of reflection type and electronic system which solves problems of darkness of screen and difficulty in color display as represented by a liquid crystal display device.

CONSTITUTION: This production method for display device of reflection type which is formed by holding microdisplay elements 5 selectively coated in two colors between two sheets of substrates with electrodes, a which at least one are transparent, and displays either of the two colors according to the voltage pulses impressed between these electrodes, comprises releasing only the transparent liquid 6 through an opening 2 or filter to the outside while injecting a mixture composed of the display elements 5 and the transparent liquid 6 into a display device body 7 to densely fill the display elements 5 in the display device. The bright and colorful display device of the reflection type and electronic system which is heretofore difficult with conventional liquid crystal display devices is easily and stably produced according to this display device.
