Title:
PRODUCTION OF FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06298561
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce fiber-reinforced concrete capable of providing sufficient bond strength between concrete and reinforcing fibers.

CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution of sodium silicate is kneaded with copper sulfate and chromium alum to partially produce a solid material. Then the solid material is pulverized to give a mixed solution, which is blended with Portland cement, an aggregate, water and reinforcing fibers and hardened. Consequently, peel of steel fibers 2 from a main body 1 of concrete occurring during setting of concrete can be prevented. Tensile strength and cracking strength are increased and toughness is extremely raised.
