Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide both a method for producing high-quality fibrous mats having a prescribed thickness and width by which single or plural kinds of fibrous raw materials different in specific gravity and a binder are uniformly mixed without causing delamination and an apparatus therefor.
CONSTITUTION: The method for producing fibrous mats is to regulate the angle of the vertical and horizontal directions of a blowoff port with a sliding type cover 11 and wind direction regulating blades 12 and control a deposited state in the thickness and width directions of the extended cottony mat material formed on a conveyor to a prescribed one in supplying a single or plural kinds of fibrous raw materials together with a binder into a fleece cylinder 1, opening and mixing the fibrous raw materials, then blowing off the mixed raw materials from a blowoff port, laminating and forming an extended cottony mat material on the conveyor 8. Furthermore, this apparatus is obtained by installing the sliding type cover 11 for regulating the blowoff angle in the vertical direction and the wind direction regulating blades 12 for regulating the blowoff angle in the horizontal direction and the blowoff flow rate in the blowoff port.
