Title:
PRODUCTION OF FINE MESH PUFF SUBSTRATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3561015
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing a fine mesh puff substrate, forming fine and uniform bubbles in spite of the use of increased mount of foaming air and giving fine bubbles and high bubble density by instantaneously gelling the foamed product after the frothing step.
CONSTITUTION: This fine mesh puff substrate is produced by compounding a raw material latex at least with a vulcanizing agent, a deterioration preventing agent, a surfactant and a thickener, mixing 6.5-8.5 pts.vol. of foaming air into 1 pt.vol. of the obtained compounded latex emulsion, pouring a gelling agent into the mixture, mechanically foaming the product by high-speed agitation at a rotational speed of 850-950rpm in a mixing head 1 having 7 to 10 stages of concentric blades 32 in a rotor part 3 and 15 to 25 stirring teeth 34 on each stage, gelling the foamed product within 1.5-2.5min after foaming and thermally vulcanizing the gelled product.
