PURPOSE: To produce a printing plate superior in resistance to impression economically in a high speed, by using an electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with a layer consisting of materials easy to peel when the electrophotography is utilized to produce a flat printing plate.
CONSTITUTION: A toner image 7 is formed on electrophotographic photoreceptor materials, where a photoconductive photosensitive layer 2 and a layer 3 consisting of materials easy to peel are provided on a substrate 1, through corona charge, pattern exposure, and toner development. The pattern of the lipophilic toner 7 is transferred to a substrate 9 having the hydrophilic surface by pressure or the like to produce a flat printing plate. Thus, treatments such as providing an insulating layer on the surface of a metal such as aluminium used as the conventional substrate for flat printing plate are not required to transfer the toner easily, and an expensive electrophotographic photoreceptor is used repeatedly to produce printing plates superior in resistance to impression quickly with a low cost.
