Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled copolymer capable of forming a transparent coating film having excellent weather resistance, chemical resistance and antifouling property, by copolymerizing a fluorine-containing olefin, an alkyl perfluorovinyl ether, etc., an alkyl vinyl ether and a monomer having functional group at specific ratios.

CONSTITUTION: The objective copolymer can be produced by copolymerizing (A) 20W70mol.% fluorine-containing olefin (preferably tetrafluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride), (B) 5W40%, preferably 5W30% alkyl perfluorovinyl ether or fluoroalkyl vinyl ether, (C) 10W40% alkyl vinyl ether and (D) 1W15% monomer having functional group (preferably a monomer having OH group, epoxy group or trialkoxysilyl group) in the presence of a polymerization initiator.
