PURPOSE: To provide the process for production of the front panel 11 having IR transmission filter parts which can produce the front panel having an intricate shape with a smaller number of stages.

CONSTITUTION: A polyester film is used as a base body sheet 5 and is provided with a release layer 12 consisting of an acrylic resin by gravure printing thereon. The layer is provided with a design layer 13 consisting of an acrylic vinyl resin contg. a black pigment by gravure printing thereon and is then provided with an IR transmission layer 14 consisting of an acrylic vinyl resin contg. an IR transmission dye by gravure printing thereon and is further provided with an adhesive layer 15 consisting of an acrylic resin by gravure printing thereon, by which a transfer sheet 4 is produced. The transfer sheet 4 is disposed in molds and after the molds are closed, a molten acrylonitrile styrene resin is injected into the molds. Molded parts are taken out of the molds after cooling and solidifying. The base body sheet 5 is then peeled therefrom.
