PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing an FRP bat capable of improving the moldability at the peripheral edge of the front end of the FRP bat produced by an RIM molding method and facilitating balance adjustment.

CONSTITUTION: A recessed fitting part 4 is previously molded at the front end 6 on the ball hitting part side of a core material having an approximately bat shape and reinforcing fibers are wound and clad around the outer periphery of this core material; thereafter, both ends of the clad reinforcing fibers are bundled to form bundled parts 8. These bundled parts 8 are thereafter housed into the recessed fitting part 4 and are then arranged in a metallic mold for molding the bat. The bat is molded by the RIM molding method.
