Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a uniformly mixed grease by supplying a grease composition to a gap between a pair of disk-shaped ceramic grinding wheels and rotating one of the wheels at a specific rotational speed, thereby efficiently kneading the grease composition.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of disk-shaped grinder wheels having a porosity of ≤30% is oppositely placed to each other leaving a clearance of ≤1mm (preferably ≤0.3mm). One of the wheels is fixed and the other is made to be rotatable. A grease composition is supplied to the clearance between the wheels and the rotatable ceramic grinding wheel is rotated at a speed of 100-3,600rpm (preferably 1,400-2,400rpm) to effect the uniform kneading of the grease composition.
