PURPOSE: To provide an advantageous manufacturing method of a heat exchanger having inner grooves with which evaporative performance is effectively elevated while effectually ensuring condensing performance.
CONSTITUTION: In parts equivalent to the inside surface of the objective heat exchanger 10 having inner grooves of a planar or tubular base stock for heat exchangers, 1st peak parts 54 of higher height and 2nd peak parts 56 of lower height are formed and, after forming groove parts 16 between those 1st peak parts 54 and 2nd peak parts 56, the 1st peak parts 54 are bent or curved in their intermediate parts toward the sides of the adjacent 2nd peak parts 56 and the widths of the pening parts of the groove parts 16 are narrowed than those of the bottom parts.
