Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously obtain in an industrially advantageous way a granular or powdery heat-treated product from pitch or heavy oil, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Using a reaction vessel (a) equipped, at its bottom, with an agitating blade with its revolving shaft tilted by 5-25 degrees relative to the perpendicular, a granular or powdery heat-treated product is fed into the vessel in advance and heavy oil or pitch is then introduced into the vessel followed by heating and agitating the mixture at 300-500°C.
