Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce a highly adhesive silylated polyamic acid improved in storage stability, heat resistance and adhesiveness to an inorganic substance or a metal or between resins by reacting a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with a diamine, an aminosilane and an aminocarboxylic acid in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A mol of a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride of formula I (wherein R<1> is a tetravalent carboxylic aromatic or heterocyclic group) is mixed with B mol of a diamine of formula II (wherein R<2> is a 2-12C aliphatic group, a 4-30C alicyclic group, a 6-30C araliphatic group, a 6-30C carboxylic aromatic group, a heterocyclic group or the like), C mol of an aminosilane of formula III (wherein R<3> is a group of any one of formulas IV, V, etc.; (s) is 1-4; R<4> is a 1-6C alkyl, a phenyl or a 7-12C alkyl-substituted phenyl; X is an alkoxy, an acetoxy or a halogen atom; and (k) is in the range of 1<=(k)<=3) and D mol of an aminocarboxylic acid of formula VI (wherein R<5> is a 1-20C bivalent hydrocarbon group) in such a ratio that A, B, C and D satisfy formulas VII-IX, and the obtained mixture is reacted for 0.2-20hr at 0-80 deg.C in a solvent.
