To provide a process for production which is capable of easily and continuously obtaining a hollow fiber membrane composite formed by uniformly reinforcing the outer peripheral parts of a hollow fiber membrane formed by bundling one or plural pieces in its longitudinal direction.
This process for producing the hollow fiber membrane composite 6 by rectilinearly moving the hollow fiber membrane 4 along its axial direction and simultaneously winding a plurality of the fibers 3 supplied from above the circumference about the axis around the outer periphery of the hollow fiber membrane 4 to form a fiber cord 6a while rotating the fibers around the axis so as to alternately oppositely turn the fibers and to alternately intertwine the fibers at the time of passing each other is adopted.
