PRODUCTION OF HOLOGRAPHIC STEREOGRAM

PURPOSE: To automate the operation to synthesize the original picture of holographic stereograms by previously inputting the context of a subject into a computer.

CONSTITUTION: The original picture of computer graphics are inputted to the computer 5 and while a television camera 2 is moved at every specified interval, the subject 1 is photographed plural times. The resulted images are then inputted as plural sheets of the original pictures into the computer 5 and the backgrounds are cut off from plural sheets of the original pictures. In which position of the graphics the photographed original pictures are fitted into is determined and any one sheet among the photographed original pictures is selected as the image to be fitted. Data of the plane is formed in the assigned position in the graphics data inputted to the computer 5 and is matched with the direction of the visual point of the image to be fitted. The image data to be fitted is then mapped on the data of the plane and the two images are synthesized.
