Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively obtain a hydrogel having a given strength without using a gelatinizing agent by retaining a water hydrogel of a specific polysaccharide-based natural polymer substance under a specific condition and heat-treating.
CONSTITUTION: A polysaccharide-based natural polymer substance having a helix structure is dissolved in water to prepare 0.05-10.0wt.% hydrosol, which is retained at 10-50°C for 0.5-2 hours and further heat-treated at 50-100°C to form a desired elastic gel. Hyaluronic acid or xanthan gum is used as the polysaccharide-based natural polymer substance.
