PURPOSE: To provide a new process for the production of hydroxyl group- containing compound not containing or containing a very little amount of a low-molecular primary amine suffering no steric hindrance from a polyurethane polyurea and/or polyurea waste by an alcoholysis of the polyurethane polyurea and/or polyurea waste.
CONSTITUTION: This new process for the production of a hydroxyl group- containing compound suitable for the polyisocyanate polymerization-addition process from the polyurethane polyurea and/or polyurea waste comprising treating the polyurethane polyurea and/or polyurea waste with a diol and/or a polyol at a temperature of 160-260°C, and removing the water present in the reaction vessel by distillation preferably during heating-up phase is characterized by adding a 1,3-dicarbonyl compound to the reaction mixture before or during the reaction.
