Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an imitation rush having appearance like a natural rush and usable as tatami facing by passing a plurality of tape like materials having different colors through a heating member forming a narrow gap.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tape like materials 10 having proper width are combined to be passed through a heating part 11 to form one imitation rush 16. The thickness of each of the tape like materials is about 0.005-0.05mm and the width thereof is about 20-50mm. At least one tape like material among a plurality of ones has different physical properties. The physical properties of the tape like materials are fundamentally different according to the kinds and polymerization degrees of the resins of the tape like materials themselves, for example, polypropylene, polyethylene and the like and also different according to the kinds of the additives mixed with the resins. Even when the same material quality is employed, different physical properties are obtained according to the different thickness and slitting widths of the tape like materials.
