Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase tensile strength and density of an inorganic fiber needle punching felt and reduce dispersion of appearance of the felt by uniformly mixing rock wool with glass fiber, in a method for producing the felt.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing an inorganic fiber needle punching felt consisting of rock wool and glass fiber, the glass fiber cut in a prescribed length is charged 14 between a fiberizing process 6 of rock wool and deshotting process 19 and the rock wool is nearly uniformly mixed with glass fiber.
