PURPOSE: To attain the deviation prevention of a terminal zone and to attain exact positioning by moving an insulating glass pane including two curved glass panes through a carrier shown in the figure between work stations for producing window glass for vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: Negative pressure is supplied from a negative pressure tank 75 through a pipe 7 to a hole 6 arranged at the central part of a carrier 5 for carriage between respective stations (S). This negative pressure is supplied from a negative pressure connecting terminal 79 additionally installed at each S through a negative pressure inlet 77. At SI, a curved glass pane 3 is placed on the carrier 5 and at SII, exact positioning is performed. At SIII, a plastic wire material (such as a butyl rubber containing a moisture absorptive material, for example), to be used as a spacer is attached in an edge zone 42 on the upper surface of the glass pane 3 and at SIV, a wire material composed of a seal material (such as a polysulfide, for example), is attached outside the spacer. At SV, the other glass pane is placed on this glass pane and at SVI, two glass panes are press-fixed so that the insulating glass pane can be provided.
