Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title foam of excellent moldability without using R-11 by reacting a specified polymeric active hydrogen compound with a specified chain extender and a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a specified catalyst and a specified blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:The title foam is prepared by reacting a polyalkylene polyol (A) having a molecular weight of 4000-30000, an OH functionality of 2-8 and a total oxyethylene group content of 20wt.% or below with a polymeric active hydrogen compound (B) containing at least two NCO-reactive active functional group containing active hydrogen, e.g. a polyether compound containing at least two functional groups which are selected from among hydroxyl, primary amino and secondary amino, and at least one of which is primary or secondary amino and having a molecular weight of 600 or above, a chain extender (C) comprising at least one compound containing at least two functional groups selected from among hydroxyl, primary amino and secondary amino and having a molecular weight of below 600, and a polyisocyanate compound (D) in the presence of at least one blowing agent selected between water and an inert gas and at least one catalyst selected from among an amine, an organometallic compound and an organic acid salt.
